Arabic reading and writing pack

Bismillah,

Last term, Class 4 covered the following Arabic reading and writing topics:

  • Shaddah
  • Alif Maqsurah
  • Suspended Alif
  • Natural Madd – Alif, Waw and Yaa

Class 4’s teacher sent the following reading and writing pack home to help parents make revision with their children over the Winter break an easier task. Each student had to complete the worksheet under parental supervision.

I’ve been uploading the worksheets individually and thought it might also be useful to upload one Pdf with all worksheets together to make printing a little easier (double sided copying for example).

Shaddah worksheet

Bismillah,

Here is a worksheet to review Shaddah with students. Using mini whiteboards is a fun and easy way to teach reading, writing and listening of basic Arabic grammar concepts. It works well in the classroom and helps when trying to informally assess students in their mastery of a particular grammar rule.
